Safelite AutoGlass has leased a large space near the Tucson International Airport to expand its service and warehouse operations. The vehicle glass repair and replacement service specialist has taken 33,311 square feet of space at 6855 S. Lisa Frank Ave., known as the Rockefeller Group Distribution Center.

Safelite is relocating and expanding from its existing locations in Tucson. At its new site, the company will have office, warehouse, distribution, and a small area for on-site repairs.

“Safelite is excited to be moving into The Rockefeller Group’s Distribution Center and expanding our presence in Tucson. The site is ideal for us because of its proximity to the Tucson Airport and the I-10 and I-19 freeways,” said Paul Hunt, Safelite’s real estate manager. “We will store hundreds to thousands of windshields at the warehouse that will be loaded onto repair trucks to serve the Greater Tucson area.”

Peter Douglas and Rob Glaser of PICOR Commercial Real Estate Services represented the landlord in the transaction.
