Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR is proud to announce that Joey Martinez, Principal and Multi-family & Investment Sales specialist, has been recognized as a BizTucson 2025 Next Gen Leader. This honor, featured in the magazine’s Winter 2025 Edition, highlights 22 Rising Stars who are making significant contributions in our community.
Since joining C&W | PICOR in 2019, Martinez and colleague Allan Mendelsberg have closed an impressive $350 million in sales transactions for multi-family and investment properties. What sets Martinez and the C&W | PICOR multi-family division apart is their team-first mentality. This collaborative approach has propelled them to capture over 70% market share in their sector. With support from Lexy Pacheco their brokerage assistant, and interns from the University of Arizona handling marketing and research, Martinez and the multi-family team focus on what they do best: building lasting client relationships and expanding their network in the Tucson market.

Outside of the office, Martinez serves on the board of Empower Coalition Inc., a local nonprofit supporting veterans, active-duty military, and their families. And when he’s not closing deals or giving back to the community, Martinez enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Tori, and their son, Grady.
