Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR, Tucson’s leading independent commercial real estate brokerage and management firm, announces the celebration of its 40th anniversary – marking four decades of ‘building value through service’ in Southern Arizona.
Established in 1985 by longtime Tucsonan Michael Hammond, C&W | PICOR has grown from a small industrial real estate firm to a local market leader with global connections. The company has closed $459 million in brokerage sales and leasing in the past year alone, while the team manages approximately 4.7 million square feet of commercial real estate across the region.
Key highlights of C&W | PICOR’s 40-year journey include:
- A unique business model offering significant benefits, profit-sharing and a path to ownership
- Elevation of market research to publish quarterly insights into each of four specialty asset classes (office, retail, industrial and multifamily).
- Alignment with Cushman & Wakefield since 2008, providing access to a global network of professionals, research methodologies and strategic approaches to client solutions
- A history of philanthropy through corporate giving and the PICOR Charitable Foundation. Since 1994 donating over $1.6 million to underserved youth charities through our annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
- Deep community roots and involvement in civic, charitable, and industry organizations
- Recognition as a Tucson Top Workplace in 2023 and 2024
