Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR recently facilitated a land acquisition at Wilmot Place Shopping Center, where Fortis Broadway LLC purchased 0.47 acres of retail land from DSW for $1.1 million. The plot for an Angie’s Lobster drive-thru restaurant is under construction and will open later this year. This deal was handled by C&W | PICOR’s retail specialists, Greg Furrier, Dave Hammack, and Natalie Furrier, who represented both parties in the transaction.
Angie’s Lobster will join a roster of new tenants at Wilmot Place Shopping Center, including Sweet Tomatoes, Starbucks, and Dollar Tree. A major soft goods retailer will also be joining as the new anchor tenant, with an announcement coming soon.
The Wilmot Place Shopping Center location is one of two Angie’s Lobster locations slated to open in Tucson this year, with another site at Copper St and Campbell Ave set to open later this fall. Created by Tony and Roushan Christofellis, also the creators behind Salad and Go chain, Angie’s Lobster offers a drive-thru concept featuring lobster sandwiches, salads, and wraps at affordable prices. The restaurant pays tribute to Tony Christofellis’ mother, Angie, a New England restaurateur who shared a passion for lobster.
There is still retail space available at Wilmot Place Shopping Center; for more information, please reach out to Greg Furrier (gfurrier@picor.com), Dave Hammack (dhammack@picor.com) or Natalie Furrier (nfurrier@picor.com).
