Oro Valley has a new destination for western fashion and workwear! Boot Barn has officially opened its doors at Rooney Ranch Shopping Center, located at 10805 N. Oracle Road, Suite 101. C&W | PICOR Principals & Retail Specialists Aaron LaPrise and Dave Hammack helped bring the national retailer to Oro Valley.
The new 19,775-square-foot store occupies a portion of a former Sports Authority location, which has since been divided into two retail spaces. Boot Barn held its soft opening on October 22, 2026, with an official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Friday, November 6, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The community is invited to stop by, explore the store, meet the team, and celebrate the grand opening!
Founded in 1978, Boot Barn has grown from a single store into the nation’s largest western and workwear retailer. The company offers everything from cowboy boots, hats, and denim to workwear, outdoor apparel, and gifts, carrying popular brands including Ariat, Wrangler, and UGG. Beyond retail, Boot Barn is actively involved in the communities it serves, supporting veterans’ organizations, local rodeos, and events that celebrate western heritage, making it a perfect fit for the Oro Valley community.
Boot Barn joins Rooney Ranch, one of Oro Valley’s major shopping centers, anchored by national retailers including Target, The Home Depot, Fry’s, and several others. Located along Oracle Road near First Avenue, the center draws traffic from surrounding neighborhoods and businesses, with El Conquistador Resort, Honeywell, and the newly developed San Dorado residential community nearby.
Leasing opportunities are still available at Rooney Ranch! A ±25,253 SF anchor space adjacent to Boot Barn is currently available for lease.
