In an industry that often focuses on individual success, Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR takes a different approach—one rooted in mentorship and collaboration. This year, we launched the Broker Lunch & Learn Series, a monthly workshop where seasoned brokerage professionals share their expertise and real-world insights on Tucson commercial real estate with the team.
The Lunch & Learn Series is a chance for our brokers to come together, exchange ideas, and learn from each other’s experiences. Each session is led by a senior C&W | PICOR broker who shares strategies, tactics, and case studies in a key aspect of commercial real estate.
Our first session in April was led by Rob Glaser, an industrial broker who’s been with C&W | PICOR since year one, focusing on the nuances of listing appointments—a crucial step in understanding client objectives as a relationship begins. Glaser and the commercial brokerage team discussed the importance of preparation, listening to client objectives, and rapport-building. Success in these meetings depends as much on emotional intelligence and adaptability as it does on market knowledge.
In May, Rick Kleiner, principal and office broker, led a discussion on strategic thinking and negotiation, key to long-term success in commercial real estate. Kleiner stressed the importance of setting goals, tracking progress, and keeping a long-term view on client relationships.
This month, Joey Martinez, principal and multifamily broker, is discussing how to bring asset class expertise to strengthen client relationships, as well as deal matchmaking and negotiation strategies.
The Lunch & Learn Series reflects C&W | PICOR’s commitment to professional growth and the collaborative culture that defines our firm, because “better never settles.” By investing in our sales and leasing professionals’ development, we ensure clients benefit from a team that’s always learning as the industry evolves.
