Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR invites the community to join us on Sunday, October 25, for the PICOR Charitable Foundation’s annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser at Ramada 22 in Reid Park.

For 33 years, the Palo Verde Kiwanis Club hosted a fall pancake breakfast that raised more than $300,000 for Tucson charities. When the club ceased operations in 1994, C&W | PICOR founder Mike Hammond, who was also a Kiwanis member, did not want to see the event disappear.

At the time, C&W | PICOR was still a young company, only nine years into its history. Mike decided to continue the Pancake Breakfast through the PICOR Charitable Foundation, carrying on a tradition that had already made a meaningful difference for local children and families.

Since then, the Pancake Breakfast has brought together C&W | PICOR employees, families, friends and community partners to raise funds for local charities serving children across Southern Arizona. It has become an important part of our history and reflects the commitment C&W | PICOR has always had to giving back to Tucson.

With the support of our community, the Pancake Breakfast has raised more than $1.85 million for organizations that help children and families in need. The PICOR Charitable Foundation focuses on smaller local nonprofits, where every donation can make a real difference for kids who need it most.

Over the years, our Pancake Breakfast has supported organizations such as Angel Heart Pajama Project, which provides new pajamas and books to children in need or in crisis; Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern Arizona, which supports children with cancer and hosts an annual prom night, Paws For Youth/Gabriel’s Angels, which brings pet therapy to children; Integrative Touch, which provides camps and programs for children and families navigating serious health challenges; Make Way for Books, which helps children and families build early-literacy skills; and Project Linus Tucson, which provides handmade blankets to children who are seriously ill or need comfort.

This year, we are aiming to raise $200,000. Every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar through the continued generosity of the Burton Family Foundation, doubling the impact of every donation. Because C&W | PICOR covers all event expenses, 100% of each contribution goes directly to local charities helping kids who need it most.

Guests can enjoy pancakes, sausages and Starbucks coffee, along with live performances from Tucson Girls Chorus and Mariachi Las Aguilitas de Davis.* Join us for breakfast, connect with friends and community members, and help support local organizations doing important work for Tucson children and families.

This year’s Pancake Breakfast will be held at Ramada 22, rather than Ramada One. Reid Park is undergoing improvements, including construction of a future splash pad. Ramada 22 offers easier parking, greater visibility from Country Club Road and a larger ramada structure for guests and volunteers.

If you are unable to attend, you can still support the fundraiser by making a donation here

We hope you will join us on October 25 to share a plate of pancakes and make a difference for Tucson kids!

*Please note that not all vendors and performers have confirmed their participation.
