Get to know Jesse Jones, the newest member of Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR’s office brokerage team.
Raised on a family farm in Northeast Georgia, Jesse developed a strong work ethic and appreciation for perseverance early on. Those qualities carried into his time at the University of Georgia, where he was a Division I football player and earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Before entering commercial real estate, Jesse spent nearly a decade in operations management at Raytheon in Tucson. His experience in corporate operations and project management shaped the analytical, detail-oriented approach he now brings to every assignment.
Jesse also offers firsthand experience as a commercial property owner, having independently managed and maintained a multifamily rental property near the University of Arizona. In a full-circle connection, C&W | PICOR’s Multifamily Team, Joey Martinez and Allan Mendelsberg, represented Jesse and the property owner in the transaction. Combined with his background in operations, property ownership, and competitive athletics, including running and cycling, Jesse brings a practical, results-focused perspective to helping tenants, landlords, buyers, and investors throughout Southern Arizona.
- What inspired your transition from operations management to commercial real estate?
I spent a decade in manufacturing operations management driving complex value streams where performance and reward weren’t as highly associated with one another as I would’ve liked. Commercial real estate offers an entrepreneurial environment where the scope of impact and financial upside are directly tied to my own drive and execution.

- What do you think makes Tucson a special place to live, work & play?
Tucson offers an incredible intersection of natural beauty and economic momentum. Being surrounded by the mountain ranges provides an unmatched playground for endurance sports and outdoor life, all paired with a thriving local business community and a culture that feels like a connected hometown rather than a sprawling metro.
- What are your favorite hobbies?
Road cycling – particularly riding my Specialized Tarmac on the weekly shootout ride and running – I love participating in the Southern Arizona Roadrunners race circuit.
- What is your favorite food?
Chicken, it’s hard to choose something else considering that I was born in the poultry capital of the world – Gainesville, Georgia.
- What is a fun fact about yourself that people might not know about you?
In exchange for working as a live-in caretaker throughout the entirety of my twenties, I didn’t pay a dime of rent.
